Simple shop policy

DIAGNOSIS
BEFORE
GUESSWORK.

The first $150 hour is due at drop-off and reserves the first hour of shop time. Depending on the job, that time may be used for diagnosis, inspection or repair. If more time, parts or repairs are needed, you’ll get an update before additional work is approved.

I'M NATE.

I’m the guy behind Dad’s Small Engine Garage. Husband, dad of six and owner/mechanic. I started tearing into scooters and small engines with my dad around 14, and more than 15 years later I still prefer the jobs that require actual testing, mechanical reasoning and a little stubbornness. Two-strokes, vintage machines, electrical problems, weird builds and equipment somebody else already gave up on are exactly the kind of work I like.

You deal directly with me from diagnosis through pickup. No service writer, no call center and no chain-shop handoff.

When it is finished, Dad's contacts you to arrange pickup and payment.
