Skid steers, compact loaders, concrete and cut-off saws, compact construction equipment, and commercial gas-powered machinery.

Generators, pressure washers, log splitters, pumps, and other engine-powered equipment.
Mowers
Zero-turn mowers, riding mowers, lawn tractors, belts, decks, PTO systems, engines, and electrical problems.
Advanced diagnosis
No-start problems, wiring, electrical faults, fuel systems, carburetors, compression, valves, timing, top-end damage, and engine replacement.
Normally not accepted: chainsaws, leaf blowers, weed eaters, string trimmers, and low-value handheld two-cycle equipment.

The shop is appointment only, so equipment does not arrive without warning.

The actual problem is tested. Additional work is not performed without approval.

Once complete, the customer is notified to arrange pickup and payment.

Built around honest diagnosis
Dad's Small Engine Garage is an independent Louisville shop owned and operated by Nate. With more than 15 years of mechanical experience, the shop checks compression, fuel, spark, electrical systems, and mechanical condition before replacing parts.
Many machines arrive after sitting for years, after failed repair attempts, or after another owner gave up. The goal is to find the real problem, explain the options clearly, and get the machine back to work or play.
